OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary is honored to have Drs. Sinclair Ferguson and Robert Godfrey as guest lecturers beginning May 11 through May 15.
· Dr. Ferguson and Dr. David Murray will be teaching a course on the Westminster Assembly and Standards May 14-21, 2009.
· Dr. Ferguson will teach Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15. He will cover the history of the Westminster Assembly and the content up to and including Chapter 19 "The Law of God."
· Dr. Murray will teach on Saturday, May 16. He will cover the remaining chapters in the Westminster Confession.
· Dr. Murray will teach also Monday, May 18, through Thursday, May 21. These lectures will cover the Shorter and Larger Catechisms.
· Dr. Sinclair Ferguson will also present the commencement address to the 2009 graduating class of PRTS on May 15 at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
· Dr. Robert Godfrey will be teaching a course earlier in the week on the Reformation in the Netherlands. This course will run from May 11-14.
Dr. Sinclair Ferguson is Senior Minister at First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, South Carolina and Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.
Dr. Robert Godfrey is President and Professor of church history at Westminster Theological Seminary California. Dr. Godfrey is also a minister in the United Reformed Church.
Dr. Murray is Professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
Although enrollment for credit is limited to PRTS students, auditing either or both courses is open to interested visitors, who are most welcome. The course material will be taught at the Master's level. The Westminster Standards course is $120 (or $60 for Dr. Ferguson's portion and $60 for Dr. Murray's portion) and the Dutch Reformation course is $100.
For those who cannot come to the seminary, these lectures will be videotaped. The lectures can be watched in real time and will be posted online and can be viewed at your leisure.
