Travel Information

Flight Information:

The Gerald Ford International Airport is just 15 minutes from the Convention Center. To get to and from the airport and the Prince Conference Center, please consider using the Prince Conference Center's free shuttle service. Simply call the conference center at 1.866.526.7200 and let them know your flight number and time of arrival; someone from the Prince Center will be there to pick you up.

 

Driving from the airport:

If you plan to rent a car at the airport and drive to the conference, exit the airport and drive straight through the first traffic light. You will be on 44th Street (west). Stay on this for approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Broadmoor* and go north for approximately 3 miles. Exit to the right (after Burton Street and the Bridge Walkway) for Calvin College and follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.

*Note: Broadmoor Avenue turns into the East Beltline at 28th Street.

 

Driving Directions

From the North (Cadillac and/or Big Rapids Area):

Take US-131 south to I-96. Take I-96 East toward Lansing to the East Beltline (Exit# 38, immediately after I-196 and I-96 merge). Take a right at the traffic light and go south on the East Beltline for 3 miles (4 traffic lights). Exit to the right on to Calvin College's campus (just before the Bridge Walkway). Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.

 

From the South:

Take US-131 north to Burton Street (Exit# 82). Go east on Burton Street about 4 miles (10 traffic lights from the expressway) until you see the Calvin College entrance sign on your left. Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.

 

From the East (Lansing/Detroit Area):

Take I-96 west to the East Beltline exit (Exit# 38). Turn right (south) on the East Beltline and travel south for approximately 3 miles. Pass under the Bridge Walkway and cross over Burton Street. Immediately after Burton, follow the Michigan left turn late to go north and again cross over Burton Street and pass under the Bridge Walkway. Exit to the right (after the Bridge Walkway) for Calvin College and follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.

 

From the West (Chicago area):

Make your way to I-94 east and then to I-196 north toward Holland. Stay on I-196 east to Grand Rapids and look for the East Beltline exit (Exit# 38). The exit will immediately be after I-196 merges with I-96. Take a right at the traffic light and go south on the East Beltline for 3 miles (4 traffic lights). Exit to the right onto Calvin College's campus (just before the Bridge Walkway). Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.

 

The Prince Conference Center is located 2.5 hours west of Detroit, 3 hours northeast of Chicago, 3 hours north of Fort Wayne, and 6 hours northwest of Cincinnati.
