Student Life.jpg

With our diverse student body comprised of both national and international students, the PRTS community is full of vibrant fellowship and interaction. Several local churches are close by and most students can live very near the seminary campus; students and their families have many opportunities to befriend and support each other during their years in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids itself also offers a variety of new sights to see and family-friendly experiences.

During the school year, students and faculty meet each week for chapel sessions. Chapels are led by a variety of professors and local church leaders, or sometimes even students themselves. (Every chapel is available for downloading; click here for more info). With a short message from the speaker and a time for prayer and singing, students find much benefit from these sessions.

Students and faculty also meet weekly for a time of prayer among themselves. This allows students to "share each other's burdens" and join together in asking the Lord for His blessing on their studies, their families, the seminary, and His kingdom at large.
